Kali (aka: Filipino Martial Arts, Escrima or Arnis) – is a weapon art primarily concerned with close quarters combat. It is taught to and utilized internationally by elite military forces for its practicality in self defense tactics and combat.
Developed for facing multiple attackers, as well as single opponent confrontations, the training teaches environmental awareness to students. They will enhance their coordination, range, and timing by using empty hands, as well as long and short rattan sticks to replace swords, knives, and spears. In addition, everyday objects become effective means of self-defense in the hands of a practitioner.
The Pekiti-Tirsia system of kali (PTK) is primarily concerned with close quarters combat and employs the traditional full-length stick, typically around 30 inches in length. The system originates from the provinces of Panay and Negros Occidental and was created by the Tortal clan. The family patriarch and Grandmaster of Pekiti-Tirsia, Grand Tuhon Conrado B. Tortal, passed the system to his only grandson Grand Tuhon Leo Tortal Gaje, Jr. Under Tuhon Rommel Tortal’s direct guidance, we carry on the Pekiti-Tirsia tradition of vigorous training, complete tactical awareness, and values of life, success, and good health. We are affiliated with the PTK Elite Family and our group was given the name Kadugo, meaning “Bloodlines”, by Tuhon Rommel.

Krabi-Krabong
The art of short and long weapons, and predecessor to Muay Thai, Krabi-Krabong provides students with intense conditioning and effective self defense tactics. The system was originally the military weaponry and empty hand combat system of Thailand, and is still practiced widely within the country.
Krabi-Krabong’s name refers to its main weapons, namely the curved sword (krabi) and staff (krabong). Unarmed, practitioners revert to empty hand techniques, utilizing kicks, pressure point strikes, joint locks, holds, and throws. Footwork, coordination and ambidexterity are emphasized in all drills, preparing students to face and handle threats from any and all angles.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting and submission holds. It focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or choke-holds. The general idea in BJJ is to first secure the best possible position on the ground, and then to choke or lock-out the joint of an opponent, forcing the opponent to submit, pass out, or suffer serious bodily harm.
